I love this pen. It is hefty but comfortable to hold. The fine nib glides over my Clairfontaine notebook paper with just a hint of feedback to let me know I’m writing with a fountain pen. No hesitation and it started writing beautifully on the very first stroke. I’m certain that I will enjoy this pen for many years to come.

My heavy but enjoyable fountain pen in unique colors

I've collected gravitas pens except for the Nib EF...
This pen I recently purchased has become the heaviest pen I've ever had. Honestly, it's too heavy ^^; I can feel the weight on my wrist even after using it for a while. It's a flex nip, but everyone knows that you need to exert a certain amount of strength to see the effect...
After taking this picture today, I noticed that there are too many fine hairs on the nib. Of course, there's nothing wrong with using it, but the overall feel is annoying. I like the overall feeling. To tell you the downside... I'm not satisfied with the overall ink flow. I know you've checked and sent me this pen, but it's very good when it comes to ink flow, from left to right and from top to bottom, whereas the flow is bad when it's from bottom to top and from right to left. It's okay when it comes to taking notes in English, but when it comes to Korean or Chinese characters, the weak flow often comes out blurry when it comes to stroke, which is a major drawback. Thank you very much for your quick delivery and meticulous packaging. ^^

Awesome pen, awesome color combo

Not my first Gravitas pen and definitively not my last. The pen is quite heavy with the cap on, but balances really well in my hand once in writing / drawing position. The skittles / rainbow finish really adds a lot of flair and makes my writing and drawing more optimistic. All in all, a great pen, and as usual, Emy ensures it writes perfectly straight out of the box.

I love it!

The shape, the color, the weight, everything is perfect in this fountain pen! It comes with a little pen case and a cleaning cloth. The pen is sized to sit comfortably in the hand when uncapped. So far, it doesn't seem to roll too much on flat surfaces, but I prefer to put it on a mouse pad to reduce the chances of it rolling. I changed the converter supplied for a Faber-Castell 148785 as it seemed a little fragile at the piston screw.
Thanks to Emmy and the whole Pen Venture team for making it easier to find and buy this brand of pens. I’ve wanted a Gravitas Skittle for a long time and everything went very well for my first purchase.

Gravitas Vac 2

The construction of the Vac 2 is flawless. The textures of the materials and it's simple lines display an elegant beauty. The large steel nib delivers a pleasant writing experience and also provides a bit of flex.

Amazing Pen! Gravitas makes one of the best piston fillers out there. I dont keep the nib and normally use the pen for coustom flex nibs with Jowo #6 compatible nib units. So, i really cant speak on the nib. However, this pen is just built with high quality components. The weight, feel, and overall aesthetics are unmatched. You wont find better at this price point.

Platinum Sansui - Smooth Operator

I recently acquired the Platinum Maki-e Sansui pen in a Medium nib. The Pen Venture team was kind enough to carefully inspect and tune this pen before sending it on to me. Many thanks for that. It writes very smoothly and with a steady flow of ink. The Medium nib is my favorite nib configuration from the Platinum brand. The line width is nice and thin and always writes consistently right of the box. This lovely Maki-e pen was no different. I highly recommend it.

FANTASTIC!

The VAC 2.0 is a great improvement to an already great pen (the original VAC Ultem). The weight and balance are spot on. The cap and the new threads engage without hesitation. No missed closures and the cap has a nice stop when threading back on. It posts securely without issue. Filling with the Kraken system is easy. I got a medium nib and it is smoooooooth. Mine is on par with my 823 medium nib The smoothness, wetness and bounce would make you think it's a gold nib. Line width is slightly narrower than the 823 medium. The pen feels solid and well built. I'm not worried about this one getting knocked around. Overall a great pen. Shipping from Pen-Venture to Colorado was five days! Great pen and service all around!
