Available for the first days of March 2026, with pre-orders now open, the new Leonardo Momento Zero Grande Pura collection marks the highly anticipated return of a beloved design. Following the success of its previous edition and numerous requests from enthusiasts worldwide, Pura returns in three refined frosted (sandblasted) finishes: Petrol Blue, Red, and Gray. Inspired by the iconic silhouette of the Momento Zero Grande, this edition is also now fitted with smooth size #8 steel nibs along Leonardo usual line up of steel #6 and 14k gold #6 nibs, offering in all nibs a reliable performance in hand. Steel #6 nibs are paired with ABS feeder - Steel #8 and 14k #6 nibs are paired with ebonite feeders.

The new Pura stands apart through its distinctive cap design. Replacing the classic three metal rings, a single engraved metal band featuring a three-dimensional pantograph defines its character (first used on the Leonardo MZG Speranza - which reminds us of the time when we all passed through the pandemic times). This geometric detailing creates a striking contrast with the pen’s soft, rounded form, an elegant nod to the era of Geometric Art (900–700 BC), where structured ornament met timeless proportion. The result is a writing instrument that feels both contemporary and rooted in artistic heritage.

Crafted in Italy and equipped with an integrated piston filling system produced in Leonardo’s own workshops, the MZG Pura offers a generous 1.5 ml ink capacity and can be disassembled using the dedicated steel wrench for maintenance. With its unique color palette and unmistakable Italian design language, the MZG Pura achieves a perfect balance between aesthetics and functionality, an essential piece for collectors and passionate writers alike.
