Nearly perfect, just wish the nib was a bit better.
The build quality and machining tolerances of the pen itself are flawless. The mechanism is unique with far more pros than cons, and from an engineering standpoint, it is truly stellar.
However, as the title suggests, the nib is a bit underwhelming—it's just a standard JoWo #6 nib lacking any real character. Then again, I tend to prefer a feedback-heavy writing experience over buttery smoothness, which might be influencing my take. The balance, engineering, and finish are spotless, and even the nib issue is easily resolved by swapping it out for a custom one. I ended up spending an extra $50 for a custom nib, but it ultimately resulted in a flawless pen.
The entire process was smooth, professional and reliable. Communication was very pleasant, the shipping was fast and well organized, and the pen arrived in perfect condition exactly as described.
