The storage compartment is made of artificial suede that does not transfer color. The bottom of the storage area is lined with sponge and when you press one side of the fountain pen, it lifts it up so it can be easily taken up.

These cases can accommodate fountain pens with a diameter of up to 20mm and lengthwise 150mm. Starting with fountain pens of the Leonardo - Momento Zero size and going up in size to pens like Pilot - Custom Urushi, each of them fit and not touch when the case is closed.
