PIUMA Hane Murakumo is an exploration of the delicate space between intention and transformation. Inspired by the Japanese word Murakumo, meaning "gathering clouds," this limited edition fountain pen captures the beauty of movement, change, and impermanence. Each piece reflects a fleeting moment preserved in material form, where artistry and nature meet in perfect balance.
Crafted using the traditional Japanese Nuritate Urushi technique, the pen's white lacquer surface is exposed to candle smoke while still fresh, allowing soft, organic patterns to emerge naturally. No two pens are ever identical. The surface is left unpolished, preserving the authentic character of the process and creating a satin finish that gently interacts with light, revealing subtle depth and texture with every movement.
Created through the collaboration between SCRIBO and master Japanese Urushi artisans, PIUMA Hane Murakumo is produced in a strictly limited edition of 110 pieces. Each fountain pen is accompanied by a handcrafted pouch made from vintage Japanese kimono silk, further emphasizing its individuality.
