Deeply rooted in Japanese culture, the decorative element known as "noshi" holds great significance when attached to gifts. Traditionally, it accompanies celebratory occasions such as weddings, births, graduations, and promotions, serving as a symbol of good fortune. However, it is important to note that noshi is never utilized in funeral or burial ceremonies. Historically, these bundles were crafted using long, slender strips of dried abalone.

Part of the Yukari Royale Series, the Namiki Tabane-noshi (Noshi Bundle) fountain pen features a slightly larger profile compared to the Yukari.

The Tabane-noshi, symbolizing good fortune, showcases an exquisite design that gracefully captures the essence of this ancient tradition. Delicately portrayed are waves of vibrant, multi-colored Noshi, bound together and elegantly unfurling, creating a truly captivating motif.

Namiki Maki-e fountain pens embody the epitome of skill and spirit passed down through generations, showcasing the rich heritage of PILOT. A stunning pocket pen

This is my fourth Gravitas Dinkey, and it's a standout among them. Like my others, it's got great build quality, smooth threads, and a reliable nib. The Timascus of the body and cap is simply stunning to look at. Its array of colors is mesmerizing and the feel of the pen is smooth and glossy. While I enjoy all four of my Dinkeys, this one has become an instant favorite for me.
