The Cupronickel Dinkey is an excellent pocket pen that goes to full size pen posted and unlike most mainstream pocket pens the full sized section and no. 6 Nib make it an absolute pleasure to write with. The nib came tuned excellently by the pen venture team and writes wonderfully out of the box.
I can highly recommend this pen and company.
This was the first time for me when I dared pushing a bit my pricing threshold and went for something more expensive than your average LAMY, Kaweco and co. And I have to say, after a week of using this beauty it got to the point where I am finding silly reasons to just take it out of my pocket and write a few lines. Because it does write beautifully and it feels amazing, even though I have slightly bigger hands. I also want to praise Emy and Pen Venture for their great quality of service, excellent delivery, everything premium, through and through. I also like their approachability, wrote to the WhatsApp number available on their website and Emy greeted me like an old friend, offered some good advice and teased some cool stuff that will come in the future to the Pen Venture store. I am soooo looking forward to it.
I am a Venezuelan living in Panama (the country, not Panama in the US) and buying something abroad is always a risk because returning an item can be more expensive than buying it sometimes, so for the most part, for better or worse once the item is here, it is here. I contacted Pen Venture and explained my needs and they provided me with personalized customer service. I can't emphasize enough what a wonderful job Emy did advising me through the process and helping me be 100% sure which fountain pen was best for me. The purchasing experience on their website was very simple and I received my Gravitas Dinkey in Panama very quickly. I never thought that buying something from Europe while living in Latin America would work so well. Pen Venture is 101% recommended for anyone anywhere in the world and Emy my friend YOU ARE THE BEST!
I’ve had this little guy in my pocket for the last week, and absolutely love it. The machining and engineering are top notch, and while it will disappear in my pocket it is still pretty comfortable to write/draw with. And with the nib tested/tuned by Emy I new I would get a good quality writing pen.
