Gravitas - Pocket Aluminium Red – Pen Venture

An ultra-portable and robust pocket pen, designed for those on the go. Crafted from 6061-T651 aluminiumanodised (body&cap) featuring a bead blasted texture and 304 stainless steel coated with black PVD (section), the section boasts micro-machined grooves for added texture. Now upgraded to feature ACME threads that improves the feel in capping and improves the seal to maintain the nib ready to write at any moment and a inner Delrin cap sleeve which makes the posting soft and mark free.

The cap of the Pocket, with double-start threads, smoothly disengages in just 1.25 turns, and one side is expertly machined flat to serve as a practical roll stop. Posting the Pocket makes up for a full size writing instrument when in writing.

The 25mm-long section, ranging from 11.85mm to 9.8mm in width, is crafted from Stainless Steel 304 for optimal weight distribution. Micro-machined grooves enhance grip, ensuring a secure hold, offering a comfortable yet firm stationary grip while writing with the Pocket.

The fountain pen is equipped with a Gravitas-production size 6 steel nib and abs plastic feeder compatible with Jowo No. 6 threads, providing a range of writing options, including : Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, and Broad. With every Pocket fountain pen comes included a standard international cartridge converter - Pocket Aluminium can also be used with small Standard International Cartridges. Pocket Aluminium isNOT eyedropper friendly!

Wonderful pen, wonderful service

The Leonardo DNA pen is amazing, and it was made better by a personal note and some nib tuning fy Pen Venture. I'm impressed with the service and care, and will be back again when the pen-acquisition-itch hits! Thank you so much!

A wonderful pen, but…

This pen is beautifully crafted and has a remarkable filling system that is a joy to use and holds a remarkable 4.0ml of ink. The nib writes very smoothly but…skips a bit and even occasionally railroads. I’ve cleaned the pen thoroughly, tried different inks, and even tried a wetting agent (White Lightning). These have helped some, but not eliminated the problem. I honestly am a bit disappointed. Perhaps PV will get back to me with a solution.

Perfect in Every Way

This is my second Gravitas pen. The Monster was my first one first. Pen Venture's customer service is fantastic! Processing and Shipping were fast with no problems. The pen itself is great. Very well made. Fit and finish are exacting. The BROAD nib is super juicy and lays down a thick, commanding, wet line. Perfect for signatures and list making. The nib came perfectly tuned. Emy's high-quality videos really helped me to decide on the purchases.
