Gravitas - Pocket Raw Stainless Steel – Pen Venture

An ultra-portable and robust pocket pen, redesigned recently for those on the go. The section, body and cap is crafted from 304 stainless steel*, section featuring micro-machined grooves to enhance grip and premiering feature of the new Pocket Raw Stainless Steel - a Delrin insert to keep the posting smooth, precise and leaving no suff marks on the pen body.

The cap of the new Pocket Stainless Steel, with triple-start threads - upgraded to ACME, smoothly disengages in just 1.5 turns, and one side is expertly machined flat to serve as a practical roll stop. Posting the Pocket makes up for a full size writing instrument when in writing.

The 25mm-long section, ranging from 11.85mm to 9.8mm in width, is crafted from metal. Micro-machined grooves enhance grip, ensuring a secure hold, offering a comfortable yet firm stationary grip while writing with the Pocket.

The fountain pen is equipped with a Gravitas-production size 6 steel nib and abs plastic feeder compatible with Jowo No. 6 threads, providing a range of writing options, including Fine flex, Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, and Broad. With every Pocket fountain pen comes included a standard international cartridge converter, if in need of more ink, the Pocket comes with rubber orings in order to be an ideal eyedropper fountain pen, taking advantage of the entire barrel volume for ink.

I love everything about the pen. Beautifully made, feels good in the hand, and writes as well as any pen I’ve ever tried. My new favorite. First rate service from Pen Venture too.

Perfect nib. I love how this nib performs. It makes up for all my gripes.
Way too heavy even in my pocket. Posted it’s nice length. Unposted it’s not really useable. The cap isn’t very secure when posted - it wiggles around.
The ink reservoir doesn’t fill up so an already small volume is even smaller.
Wouldn’t buy again. Did I mention this has a wonderful nib…

Great design, but far to heavy for me

I have nothing negative to say about the Gravitas Pockets design, fit, and finish. Everything is machined super well, threads smooth, the Delrin inner cap is amazing!

However, the pen is way too heavy for practical use. That was my oversight, not a mislead from the specs.

I’m going to keep it for small jots in a notebook near my coffee table, but I might look into the Dinkey for my daily carry to work.

Great little pen

Received this pen today from Pen Venture (fast shipping as usual with Emi) Inked it up with the complementary bottle of ink (Thanks Emi, much appreciated gesture) and started writing with it.
This pen writes very smooth and is a great EDC pen although it might be a bit heavy for some to carry around. This is a very tactile piece of writing equipment which is a joy have in my hand even if I'm not writing with it :-)
Overall very happy again with the product as well as the whole buying experience.

Good nib cleaner

It does what is suppose to do, Very expensive for the amount you get but when you need it to clean heavy the shimmer from your nib it does the job.

My favourite brown ink

Taccia Tsuchi is my favourite brown ink. Behaves great, it’s wet, dries quickly and the colour is neither too light nor too dark. Warm colour like chocolate and has good shading. No shimmer. Delivery was insanely quick and the handwritten personal note was a very nice and appreciated touch. Thank you!

Excellent pen!

The Ultimate Workhorse for the Pocket

Since this isn’t my first time using a Quark, I knew exactly what to expect, but I wanted something even tougher for work—a pen I wouldn't have to baby. In a moment of inspiration, I decided to treat myself to the Quark Titanium, and I haven't regretted it for a second.
Form & Function

The portability is where this pen truly shines. It is incredibly compact to carry, yet the moment you post the cap, the length becomes perfect. It feels balanced and sits naturally in the hand, making it a joy to use despite its small footprint.
Quality & Craftsmanship

I’ll be honest: my handwriting still isn’t the most beautiful, but this pen makes me want to write more regardless. The build quality is exceptional and clearly well-thought-out. Simply put, it’s a brilliant piece of engineering.
