Great purchase on FPD with a broad nib, great writer used as an eyedropper every day alongside my other Gravitas pens.

Excellent writing/drawing tool

I have it just for a week and i can say it's something that I've missed without knowing it and that's owed to the fact that it feels great in the hand, being balanced towards the tip and the very fine tuned EF nib just glides nicely on writing paper and even on the medium grain paper that I'm drawing on.
Very happy that I've decided to make this purchase, highly recommended!

Slim, but mighty

The entry Ultem (alongside the monster) have become my daily carries. I have eyedropper this pen and it is a beast. No leaks, no burping, and it just keeps writing. I thought it was initially too slim, but the ergonomics of this pen (and honestly all of Ben’s pens) are out of this world. It’s ruined me for all other pens. Would highly suggest this pen, will probably buy another.

A special kind of pen

This is really quite a unique one. Despite its apparent simplicity, the build quality and attention to detail become obvious the moment you hold it in your hand. Like all Gravitas pens, it has a great flowing nib, smooth, with a hint of feedback. And like all ultem pens, it is durable and eyedropper-friendly (if you're into this kind of things). What makes it special for me, though, is its balance. The fairly weighty metal section (I think it's steel - and very comfortable to hold by the way) makes it relatively front-heavy, which is really quite unique for a fountain pen. This makes it really precise in writing, and very comfortable for longer writing sessions, as your hand doesn't get tired. Together with the slim and fairly long body, it gives me a feel and writing experience somewhat reminiscent of a calligraphy dip pen. In case you prefer a more classic fountain pen experience, you can just post it - the cap posts securely and deeply, and so it doesn't add much to the length, but adds a bit of weight and girth to the back end. I wish there was a clip or some sort of roll-stopper, so the pen wouldn't roll away on my desk - but other than that small detail, I'm extremely happy with it.
