Gravitas - Entry Aluminium Rainbow Skittle PvD – Pen Venture

The Gravitas Entry combines precision machining, practical design and a distinctive PVD Rainbow finish in an approachable, lightweight fountain pen. Designed to suit newcomers to fountain pens as well as experienced writers, the Entry offers the engineering details associated with Gravitas in a comfortable everyday writing instrument.

The body is machined from a solid block of aluminium, keeping the pen light in the hand while providing a durable construction. Its colourful PVD Rainbow finish gives every pen a striking appearance, with the metallic tones shifting depending on the angle and lighting.

For improved balance and control, the aluminium body is paired with a precision-machined 304 stainless-steel grip section. Measuring 25 mm in length, the section gradually tapers from 11.3 mm to 9.8 mm and incorporates finely machined circular grooves to provide a secure and comfortable grip during longer writing sessions.

The cap uses ACME threads and can be removed in approximately one and a half turns, making the pen quick and convenient to access. A Delrin inner cap sleeve provides a smooth interface when posting the cap and helps protect the pen's finish during use.

The Entry is fitted with a Gravitas size #6 stainless-steel nib and is available in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium and Broad. The nib system is compatible* with JoWo-format #6 nib units*, offering additional flexibility for users who wish to customise their writing experience.

Filling is handled through a standard international cartridge/converter system, and a plug-in converter is included with the pen. Each Gravitas Entry is supplied in a zipped protective carry case for convenient storage and transport.

*While the pen is designed to accept compatible JoWo-format nib units, users are responsible for verifying the correct fit and compatibility of any third-party nib or nib unit before installation. Damage resulting from the installation or use of non-Gravitas nibs or nib units is not covered by Gravitas.
