Gravitas Dinkey Skittle

The steel of this particular Dinkey gives it a more distinct weight compared to similar titanium models. While it contrasts in that regard, it mirrors their quality, fit and finish. Capping, uncapping and posting all feel smooth and reliable. And the Skittle's finish it everything I had hoped for. It's vibrant, colorful and shiny, without being a finger-print magnet.

This makes my fifth Dinkey so far now. It along with the rest all arrived securely and in a timely manner thanks to everyone on the Pen Venture team.

A stunning pocket pen

This is my fourth Gravitas Dinkey, and it's a standout among them. Like my others, it's got great build quality, smooth threads, and a reliable nib. The Timascus of the body and cap is simply stunning to look at. Its array of colors is mesmerizing and the feel of the pen is smooth and glossy. While I enjoy all four of my Dinkeys, this one has become an instant favorite for me.

A very satisfying small heavy pen

The PVD coating of this pen makes it stand out, especially next to my carbon Dinkey and my zirconium Quark. I have a Kaweco Brass Sport that I don't enjoy because it is much too heavy for my taste, but this much smaller steel pen feels great in my medium-sized hand. I thoroughly enjoy it as it is the only size of steel/brass pens that I might care to use, but it's not great at the "pocket" part of being a pocket pen. I wouldn't use it for that function unless for some reason I greatly need it to be able to resist being rolled over by heavy vehicules.

First date with my Dinkey

My Dinkey came halfway around the world within the week.
Thank you Pen Venture team for the fantastic service.
The pen quality and finish is stunning and with the raw finish to the grip section there is no fear of the pen sliding about whilst writing.
I changed the nib out for a 1.1 mm stub which writes silky smooth.
I still like to carry my pens in my shirt pocket so for me this pen and the Quarks would be the worlds best pens if they had a clip.

GORGEOUS PEN

I love Gravitas pens. The level of precision is second to none. The pen is absolutely beautiful. The pen comes with a steel nib but I switched it up for the BB 14k nib that came in my Kakari. I cannot wait until my pen has developed the beautiful patina I expect it will. As for the way it fits my hand. I have a large hands and it fits well when posted.

Wonderful pen, wonderful service

The Leonardo DNA pen is amazing, and it was made better by a personal note and some nib tuning fy Pen Venture. I'm impressed with the service and care, and will be back again when the pen-acquisition-itch hits! Thank you so much!

A wonderful pen, but…

This pen is beautifully crafted and has a remarkable filling system that is a joy to use and holds a remarkable 4.0ml of ink. The nib writes very smoothly but…skips a bit and even occasionally railroads. I’ve cleaned the pen thoroughly, tried different inks, and even tried a wetting agent (White Lightning). These have helped some, but not eliminated the problem. I honestly am a bit disappointed. Perhaps PV will get back to me with a solution.

Perfect in Every Way

This is my second Gravitas pen. The Monster was my first one first. Pen Venture's customer service is fantastic! Processing and Shipping were fast with no problems. The pen itself is great. Very well made. Fit and finish are exacting. The BROAD nib is super juicy and lays down a thick, commanding, wet line. Perfect for signatures and list making. The nib came perfectly tuned. Emy's high-quality videos really helped me to decide on the purchases.
