Each fountain pen from the SE Sailor Manyo collection is inspired by the Manyo ink collection, named after Manyosyu, the oldest anthology of Japanese poetry collected over a period of four centuries. Each fountain pen in the Manyo collection is a combination of two different colors from the Manyo ink collection.

Plum is a combination of Yomogi and Ume with the depiction of a plum flower on the cap finish instead of the Sailor anchor. The Manyo Plum fountain pen comes with a 50ml bottle of assorted Manyo ink.
