Namiki - Aya Akatsuki Daybreak

A captivating addition to the Namiki permanent collection, the AYA range is masterfully crafted by the esteemed Kokkokai group of artisans in early 2023.

In Japanese, "AYA" signifies the essence of colored light, evoking an enchanting world of abstract patterns that spark our imagination and inspire poetry.

Each fountain pen in this collection boasts a vibrant colored lacquer and intricate patterns created using the Togidashi maki-e technique, Raden inlays, and accents of gold or silver powder.

This red fountain pen pen embodies the essence of Akatsuki (Daybreak), that mystical and profound moment just before sunrise. It symbolizes the realization of dreams and showcases the power of the sun breaking through the darkness of the night. Crafted with Togidashi Maki-e and adorned with gold powder.

Completing each model is the extraordinary 18K N°30 gold nib featuring the iconic image of Mount Fuji, adding a touch of elegance and authenticity.

At the dawn of the 20th century, Namiki introduced the world to the harmonious fusion of the traditional Japanese art form of "Maki-e" with fountain pens. Renowned for their exquisite lacquered bodies and refined designs, Namiki's craftsmen have gained worldwide acclaim. Today, their unrivaled skills and unwavering spirit continue to shape Namiki as the epitome of Maki-e fountain pens.
