One year in the works - Leonardo - Urushi Essenza Nipon Sette, only 13 pieces are available, each one a unique testament to the skill, vision, and dedication of Leonardo Officina Italiana and PenTeo, our urushi artist who brought the vision to life.

Crafted using the roiro urushi technique, the pen’s body is lacquered in aka kushi, a rich, red lacquer known as “lipstick red.” With every layer, the urushi transforms, deepening in color, revealing its beauty and capturing light in an ever-changing glow. From the hands of PenTeo, the fountain pen emerges as more than a writing instrument, it is a glowing statement of beauty and intention, where tradition, patience, and artistry converge.

The bold red is elegantly balanced with black accents on the limited edition hand painted Roman numbers, threads, and feeder, creating a striking contrast that highlights the meticulous attention to detail.
