Gravitas - Pocket Delrin White – Pen Venture

This lightweight fountain pen boasts exceptional durability and user-friendly features, including a Delrin section for effortless handling. Delrin is Polyoxymethylene (PMO) and it combines low-friction and high-wear resistance with the high strength and stiffness such applications require, making it the ideal material to replace metal in designed parts.

The cap of the Pocket, with triple-start threads, smoothly disengages in just 1.5 turns, and one side is expertly machined flat to serve as a practical roll stop. Posting the Pocket makes up for a full size writing instrument when in writing.

The 25mm-long section, ranging from 11.85mm to 9.8mm in width, is crafted from Delrin for optimal weight reduction. Micro-machined grooves enhance grip, ensuring a secure hold, offering a comfortable yet firm stationary grip while writing with the Pocket.

The fountain pen is equipped with a Gravitas-production size 6 steel nib and abs plastic feeder compatible with Jowo No. 6 threads, providing a range of writing options, including Fine flex, Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, and Broad. With every Pocket fountain pen comes included a standard international cartridge converter, if in need of more ink, the Pocket comes with rubber orings in order to be an ideal eyedropper fountain pen, taking advantage of the entire barrel volume for ink.

A great pocket pen

A wonderful pen - I like the pure white color. Nib can be easily exchanged for different JoWo nib. Can be eye-droppered and can see enough through the Delrin to see if there is sufficient ink. I can't really decide whether I like the Ultem or Delrin more, but the Delrin is more attractive and sinuous to touch. Great shipping and communication with Emy.

I received my new pens, and first from Gravitas, less about an hour ago. My love for this brand began with a conversation with Ben Walsh himself in November 2022. I was disappointed to learn he does not ship to my part of the world, Kenya, to be precise in East Africa. However, my love for pens led to me to Pen Venture YouTube page. I decided to check their site and voila! I placed my first two orders. I cannot speak enough about the nondescript package I have received.
