Scribo - Piuma Tamenuri Hane Toruko (LTD)

PIUMA Hane Toruko follow up collection after last year PIUMA Hane Kuro,  a refined fountain pen shape defined by its distinctive torpedo classic form and a flat facet, featuring a unique urushi turquoise finish which glows from underneath through the brown transparent urushi layers on top. Inspired by the clarity of light and water, its color shifts subtly depending on how it is viewed, creating a sense of depth and movement. The result is elegant, calm and quietly expressive writing instrument.

The fountain pen Urushi finish is hand crafted by Urushi artists residing in Japan using the traditional Tamenuri technique, where multiple layers of natural Urushi lacquer are applied and polished by hand. This process creates a smooth, luminous surface that enhances the richness of the color. Over time, the lacquer becomes more transparent, revealing even greater depth.

Scribo PIUMA has no trim elements (no clip) and can be equipped with 14k flex gold nib or 18k gold nib, ebonite feeder and a cartage converter filing system - which makes the pen convenient to maintain and clean after use.

Each PIUMA Hane Toruko is crafted by skilled artisans, ensuring precision and quality in every detail. Paired with a handcrafted pouch made from Japanese kimono fabric, it is both a functional writing instrument and a piece of timeless craftsmanship.
