A Fifty4T? Much closer to a 100 out of 100!

For the sake of proper disclosure: I have coveted a Conid Bulkfiller for a long time, since I first stumbled upon their ingenious (and back then - completely new and revolutionary) filling system. Alas, I hesitated long enough to realize that their current production & marketing model would yield nothing for me. Thus, I sought viable alternatives, found some - and wasn't satisfied with any of them. And then Fifty4T came along - and did it for me. I chose the SL simply because its bigger brother has no clip, and that's a deal breaker for me.
The pen is all I could wish for: I like its smooth, clean, high-tech design. The overall dimensions are just right for me (it is heavier than average, though, but not inconveniently so, for me at least). The EF steel nib (thank you again, Emy, for giving it your personal touch) is appropriately wet, and it's one of the smoothest in my collection - almost no feedback. Oh, and the filling system works flawlessly :)
As a bulk filler equivalent, it carries a huge amount of ink, and it is also a safety pen.
And last - but certainly not least - it is considerably cheaper than a Conid, without compromising functionality or quality.
Finally - a shout-out to the Pen Venture Team for their great service and excellent business.

I didn’t do much research as usual, if I see Emy show it off on YouTube then it’s a purchase for me! It did not disappoint and it feels right up there with the best of the Gravitas…juicy flow, sturdy build, awesome material. I like it!! Thanks to Pen Venture for carrying this nice brand!

perfect choice, excellent service

The Fifty4T Titan SL is a perfect EDC pen: solidly constructed, excellent nib, a great writer and a practical filling system which is a joy to use.

The filling system is just the beginning

I've always found Fifty4T pens rather pricey, but now I know you get all you pay for. The filling system is as efficient as advertised and the writing experience is top notch.

Funky and fun filling system

The fifty4t sl is a a smaller, but no means small pen from Fifty4t. Its about the size of a Pilot 823 ( just a tiny bit longer and wider). The grip section is made of stainless steel, but it's very grippy due to the textured finish. The writing experience is smooth and is a pleasure for long writing sessions. The filling mechanism is a fun change of pace. It's easy to use and packs a large ink capacity.

Skipped so much I had to replace the nib unit with parts from my storage. Quite disappointing. The cap now screws on, I preferred the slip cap. It's faster. It's working now but I won't be spending any more money on gravitas.

The Vac 2

The Vac 2 is a refinement of both the Monster and the previous Gravitas vac fillers. This is a very robust, beautifully balanced writer that will bring pleasure to even the most particular purchaser. The filling system holds just the right quantity of ink. Long writing sessions are a breeze without the risk of having ink sit in the pen for extended periods. I have used this pen extensively since it arrived and have found it to be consistent and reliable. The nib is smooth and flows evenly with the lightest of touches. I prefer this pen over the monster because of its size and balance. The Vac 2 becomes an extension of my hand, allowing me to forget its presence and locus entirely, focusing on what I am writing.

Substantial, reliable, and smooth

The Gravitas Vac 2.0 is an amazing tool for handwriting. The nib is smooth, distinct, and reliable, and it has some weight due to its durable materials, black aluminium/aluminum and ultem, the perfect combination of a tool which will survive most of us, still functioning if the internal vacuum piston system is cared for. I have enjoyed this fountain pen for seven days and I am pleased to say it is one of my better ones, and it is fun to use. I recommend it.

(Emy was correct: The nib has great flow, about six drops of ink will automatically flow from the nib after I have just filled it, after that no problems; tissue paper or the ink bottle under the nib until that happens is recommended, other than that: an excellent fountain pen.)
