Montegrappa pays tribute to The Lord of The Rings trilogy with a magical writing instrument.
Honoring one of cinema's most intricate works is a daunting challenge, but with this limited edition fountain pen, Montegrappa successfully rises to the expectations.
The Lord of The Rings fountain pen features a lost wax cast sterling silver and celluloid body, sterling silver trim, a replica of the One Ring inscribed in Tengwar and golden plated that you can remove and wear (if you dare), a piston filling mechanism, and an 18k Gold nib.
Around the barrel, regalia and armaments belonging to the Fellowship of the Ring symbolise the fight against evil. You can find reproductions of more than two dozen of motifs and props, from Gandalf's staff, Aragorn's sword and Gimli's axe, to the cubic zirconia set in the emblem of the White Tree of Gondor.
A hand-enamelled Eye of Sauron suspended in the Tower of Barad-dûr is the major feature of the cap, the clip being a representation of Frodo's Elvish blade - Sting.
