The Medici family served as inspiration for this Visconti model. They are well known for supporting a lot of famous artists and inspiring the birth of Renaissance. As a homage, Visconti designed a eight sides faceted design inspired from the baptistery of Florence. The new design asked for Acrosilk. This is a new material made from a mix of acrylic resin and silk fibers. Every pen is unique and a glossy chatoyant mix of dark blue and sparkly gold dust make this pen stand out. The Medici family symbol along with the name MEDICI is chiseled on the ring. Everything is complemented by the gold platted trims. 

This pen comes equipped with the new 18k Gold oversized nib. You can choose the nib from the 5 sizes available: Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad and Stub 1.3mm.

Generous ink capacity is available with the Visconti patented vacuum Power Filler. This filling system is made entirely from titanium resisting ink corrosion. The weight of this pen is well distributed making it comfortable for extended writing session. This pen can't be accidentally uncapped , it features the Hook Safe Lock trademark capping mechanism.
