Armando Simoni Club latest fountain pen in the successful Bologna Extra line is the Africa edition. Made from a precious new celluloid and this specific celluloid had never been used by OMAS. Similar in pattern with the Burkina - this Africa  celluloid is featuring the dark chestnut brown color as a canvas for the Burkina pattern. This combination of colors is complemented by rhodium plated trims.

This fountain pen follows the classic iconic lines of Italian pen design and features a modern trend being a oversize fountain pen. The cap band of the pen is engraved with a elegant leaf motif.

This pen comes equipped with the Magic Flex 18k gold nib. Using a very effective ink delivery system, a ebonite feed. This ebonite feed features a horizontally cut slit, this feature allows the feed to follow the nib under pressure offering a generous ink flow.

Bologna Extra uses a quick-acting pneumatic filling system, fill the pen by unscrewing the cap on top of the barrel, extend the plunger outward, cover the small vent hole on top, immerse the nib in ink, push the plunger, uncover the air vent and re-tightening the knob you are ready write.
